Why I Switched from React to Next.js

For years, Create React App was my go-to for building web applications. It was simple, familiar, and got the job done. But as the web ecosystem evolved, I found myself wanting more.

The turning point came when I started working on projects that needed better SEO, faster initial page loads, and a simpler routing system. Next.js delivered on all fronts.

What won me over was the developer experience. File-based routing eliminated boilerplate, server-side rendering improved performance out of the box, and the built-in image optimization saved me hours of manual configuration.

Today, I use Next.js for every project I start — from simple landing pages to full-featured e-commerce platforms. The productivity gain is undeniable.
